What imitatio is
imitatio shows what pump.fun is copying right now. When a coin starts to move, dozens of coins with the same name appear within minutes. We group those copies into narratives and show how many of them graduated and how many are still alive.
It answers three questions. What is everyone launching right now? Is it still early or already over? Is the coin in front of me the first one or copy number forty?
Quick start
- Open the radar. The list on the left is every name being copied, hottest first.
- Click a narrative. The right side shows every copy as a dot: when it launched and what it is worth now.
- Read the status. Early, late, one winner, crowded and so on. Each one is explained below.
- Got a coin address? Paste it into check a coin to see every coin with the same name.
Reading the radar
The numbers on top
Launches per minute is how fast new coins appear on pump.fun right now. The next three numbers follow the time window you picked: how many coins launched in that window have graduated, how many of those are still alive, and how many were already dumped. The last two show what share of new launches use holder rewards and mayhem mode.
The time window
15 min, 1 hour or 4 hours. It sets how far back the radar looks. Use 15 min to catch what is starting, 4 hours to see what already played out.
The list
Each row is one narrative. Under the name: how many copies exist and how many different wallets launched them. The small strip shows the copies along time, oldest on the left. The number on the right is how many copies are alive out of those that graduated. The box at the end is the status.
The chart
Every dot is one coin. Left to right is launch time, bottom to top is market cap. The red dashed line is the graduation price. Dots above it made it off the bonding curve and held. Hover a dot for details, click it to open the coin on pump.fun.
The table
The same coins as a list, biggest first. The copy column shows which coin with that exact name came first, second and so on. Notes show the launch settings: holder rewards, mayhem, pair, X link, website.
Narrative statuses
A status sums up what happened to the copies of one name. It is a description, not a prediction.
- early
- Two or more copies are alive, they come from different devs, and the oldest winner is under 90 minutes old. The rare one. The theme is working and it is still young.
- late
- Some copies are alive, but the oldest winner is over 90 minutes old. The first wave is over. The theme worked. You are probably looking at the tail of it.
- one winner
- One coin holds most of the money. The other copies are not catching up. Attention has picked its coin. New copies rarely take it back.
- crowded
- Nine or more copies in the last hour. Each new one splits the same buyers. Too many copies at once. Most of them will not find buyers.
- starting
- Several devs are launching this right now. None has graduated yet. Brand new. Check back in a few minutes to see if any copy graduates.
- spam
- Many of these copies come from the same wallets. A few devs are spamming the name. Treat the copy count with care. It is not many people, it is a few wallets.
- suspicious
- Many of the graduates show a market cap their age can't explain. Don't trust these numbers. Market caps here look staged. Do not read them as demand.
- dumped
- Copies graduated and every one of them got dumped. The theme graduated coins and all of them were sold off.
- too few
- The name repeats, but there are too few coins to say anything. Not enough coins to read anything into it yet.
A name marked evergreen is a theme that is always around on pump.fun, like dog, cat or AI. It is not news, so read it with that in mind.
Coin states
Every coin gets one of five states. A coin graduates when its bonding curve fills up, at a market cap of roughly 411 SOL.
- alive
- Graduated and still worth at least about 70% of its graduation market cap.
- fading
- Graduated and slipping. Between about 25% and 70% of its graduation market cap.
- dumped
- Graduated and sold off. Under about 25% of its graduation market cap.
- bonding
- Still on the bonding curve. It has not graduated yet.
- suspicious cap
- A market cap over $5M on a coin a few hours old. Usually staged with the launcher's own wallets.
Check a coin
Paste a coin address, a pump.fun link or a name into check a coin. For an address you get every coin on pump.fun with the same name, the coin's own description and links, and a plain answer:
- the first
- No coin with this name is older.
- only one
- No other coin has this name.
- 20 older
- Twenty coins with this exact name launched before it. A plus sign means at least that many.
Being first does not make a coin better, and a later copy is sometimes the one that wins. The check also tells you which copy is the biggest and which one pump.fun marks as verified. A coin with no description and no links is shown as exactly that.
What works
What works compares launch settings. For each setting it shows what share of new launches use it and what share of graduated coins used it. The last number is the ratio of the two.
1.0x means coins with that setting graduate as often as the average launch. 2.0x means twice as often. 0.5x means half as often. It shows what the coins that made it had in common. It does not mean a setting makes a coin win.
Alerts
Press alerts at the top of the radar. You can ask to be told when any narrative turns early, and you can follow single narratives with the follow button next to their name. For a followed narrative you hear about new copies, graduations and status changes.
Alerts work while the radar tab is open, including in the background if you allow browser notifications. What you follow is saved in your browser only. Nothing is sent to us, and nothing reaches you when the tab is closed.
Data and limits
- All data comes from the public pump.fun feed. imitatio is not affiliated with pump.fun.
- The radar refreshes about every ten seconds and looks back about four and a half hours.
- Nothing is stored. There is no history beyond that window, and the launch count restarts when the server sleeps.
- Coins are grouped by the words in their names. Some groupings will be wrong.
- The coin check reads up to 150 coins with the same name. For very common names the real count is higher.
- Market caps on pump.fun can be staged. We flag the obvious cases as suspicious, not all of them.
- If pump.fun changes or closes its feed, the radar stops until we adapt.
Token
The token is $IMTATO. It is not live yet. 90% of its creator fee buys the token back and burns it, and 10% pays for servers and API. The full plan, including what holders get and what is never for sale, is on the token page.
Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. The radar, the coin check and the launch stats are free and will stay free.
- Is there an IMITATIO token?
- It will be $IMTATO and it is not live yet. Any coin with this name or ticker today is a copy. The real address will be posted on the token page first.
- Why is a coin I know missing from the radar?
- The radar only shows names that repeat. A coin with a unique name is not a narrative here. It also only looks back about four hours.
- Why is a coin in the wrong narrative?
- Coins are grouped by the words in their names. That is fast and simple, and sometimes wrong. A coin can also sit in two narratives at once.
- Why do the numbers differ from pump.fun?
- Market caps come from the same pump.fun feed but a few seconds later. Counts are only for the coins we read, not for all of pump.fun.
- Can I pay to get a coin listed or promoted?
- No. Nothing on the radar is for sale. If a rating could be bought it would be worthless.
- Does early mean I should buy?
- No. A status describes what already happened to the copies. It says nothing about what happens next. Most coins on pump.fun go to zero.
- How often does it update?
- About every ten seconds. The time since the last update is shown at the top right.
About
IMITATIO is Latin for imitation. Memecoins spread by copying: one name works and a hundred copies follow. Most trackers show coins one at a time. We show the copying itself, because that is where you can see whether a theme is alive or already spent.
The project is independent. It takes no money for placement and shows its own limits on this page. It is a tool for reading the market, not financial advice.
